This was the first book that I have ever read by this author SK. Never even heard of her but after reading this one I then researched to find all of the books that she has available. I am now on her 5 novel in a month. I guess you could call it a SK marathon. She is an excellent writer. The storyline was great. Plot development, climax and the many extra twist and turns made this a book that I could not put down. I am definitely now a fan of SK. Sins and betrays was a story about lies and deception, revenge and a passionate love that would not be denied. This story made you mad, it made you laugh and ultimately is made you happy in the knowledge of this couple was reuniting, and finding their children to finally become a family that they were destine to become. It's an example of the best laid plans don't always turn out like you think they will. LOVED IT! LOVED IT! LOVED IT!Product details

I read this book in one evening. I could not put it down once i started. What more accolades can i shower upon SK? Her writing skills are AMAZING. Her imagination is off the charts. I enjoyed this story sooooo much.
Triniti Montclaire and Ian Bertrand were two people who fell in love quickly and got married quickly. They were together for just a short while when Ian was arrested for murder and sent to prison for life. Triniti ends up filing for divorce and moves on with her life. Six years later, Ian is released from prison and is on a path to seek revenge against those who set him up for murder and his wife for abandoning him.
This story is full of twists and turns and keeps you guessing to the very end. The characters are soooo interesting and the plot soooo entertaining.This is a MUST READ.ENJOY!
I have yet to read a book by Author SK that I have not absolutely loved and I was not disappointed with Sins and Betrayals.
Ian Bertrand was hell bent on revenge when he was released after serving time for a crime he did not commit. Imagine his surprise when he found out that his ex-wife was engaged to be married to the local pastor. Ian was not having that and turned up the heat to prove that the chemistry between them was still there.
Things are never as you expect them to be and there were many surprises that made this a page turner for me. ***read it in 4 hours***. I was drawn into a story with so many twist and turns, it made my head spin.
I especially liked how the New Orleans culture was peppered throughout the story, which made it more authentic in my view. In the end love prevailed and every one got what they deserved.
I am so ready for the next book.
Holy funk what? Are you serious? I couldn't stop reading this book. For pastor Julius to think is okay to continue doing his fidelity I want throw the bible at him especially in the house of God. whoa Julius, Julius, Julius, oh Julius, God understand you're a man alright just remember that when you feel his wrath smh. dude is money and power hungry. Both Josie and Julius(JJ) are two peas in a pod and perfect for each other. That pillar chick thought she was the one , didn't she lol little did she know about Julius McCoy.
Ian is really hot and sexy when he speak. I feel really bad for him being frame for a crime he didn't committed. This book could also fall under paranormal which strange compare to the author original style of writing. This was a great story where every details feel real. It's like to can picture each character and believe in them. Can I just say i love when Ian called Triniti, thats even worst than a British accent and i love a man with accent. So glad everybody get their happy ending. The author outdone herself with this one bravo.
Once again SK has hit the ball out of the park!! Sins and Betrayals was a fast moving and entertaining read. I picked up this book and did not put it down until I finished. In this story we meet Ian, a man who was put in prison and robbed of several years of his life by being accused of a crime he didn't commit. Released on a technicality, Ian comes home to New Orleans to set things right, starting with the betrayal he felt from his ex wife Triniti. Seeing her again was not as easy at he first perceived it. Seeing her was a blow to his mental and physical senses. And when he drops a bomb on her, neither of their lives will ever be the same. Still reeling from the reappearance of her ex husband, Triniti fights to understand the turn her life has taken. Giving into to her feelings and admitting the truth to herself, she is thrown into whirlwind of emotions and confusion. Together Ian and Triniti fight to get back everything they lost and make their world right again. Will they succeed? You'll have to read the story to find out. This story had it all drama and oh so hot heat!! Ian and Triniti's chemistry was off the chart hawt!!!Even after being separated for 6 years their intense love was still fire!! I loved how SK gave such a vivid description of the Bayou. I'v never been, but reading this I felt like I was seeing it. This story was a fantastic read. If you don't get it you are depriving yourself greatly!!! Reasy for the next one SK!!!
